Deluxe Nutrition BCAA 4:1:1 uses a leucine heavy 4:1:1 ratio of 100% Pharmaceutical Grade branched chain amino acids. SO why have we made a 4:1:1 blend? well very simply leucine is the key amino acid responsible for increasing protein synthesis, and the most protein you can absorb the bigger muscles you can create.

Leucine has been described as the most effective, potent, and beneficial of the three Branch Chain Amino Acids which has sparked a dramatic increase in demand for this material. Due to this increase in demand for this material and the constant demand for BCAA's, we at Deluxe Nutrition have formulated and very potent and extremely effective 4:1:1 ratio of leucine: isoleucine: valine respectively that incorporates a high dose of leucine in conjunction with isoleucine and valine to deliver a formula that dramatically increases protein synthesis, increases the body's ability to sustain a positive nitrogen balance, and remain in an anti-catabolic state resulting in the perfect environment for the body to increase skeletal muscle growth.

BCAAs are necessary to maintain muscle tissue and studies have shown that they help to conserve the muscle stores of glycogen. BCAAs also avoid muscle tissue breakdown during training and competition.

Unlike other amino acids BCAAs are not metabolised in the stomach and are instead metabolised directly in the muscle. This exceptional quality means that they are very anabolic (they build muscle) and very anti-catabolic (they stop muscle breakdown). These exceptional amino acids (Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine) cannot be synthesised by your body so they are vital to your growth.

Leucine

A branched chain amino acid used as a source of energy
Helps reduce muscle protein breakdown
Modulates uptake of neurotransmitter precursors by the brain as well as the release of enkephalins, which inhibit the passage of pain signals into the nervous system.
Promotes healing of skin and broken bones.

Isoleucine

A branched chain amino acid readily taken up and used for energy by muscle tissue.
Used to prevent muscle wasting in debilitated individuals
Essential in the formation of hemoglobin

Valine

A branched chain amino acid
Not processed by the liver; rather actively taken up by muscle
Influences brain uptake of other neurotransmitter precursors (trptophan, phenylalanine and tryosine).

Ingredients:

BCAA ratio is 4:1:1 Leucine: Isoleucine: Valine.

3330mg Leucine: 835mg Isoleucine: 835mg Valine per 5000mg (5g) serving.

Suggested use:

As a dietary supplement use 3-5g (1tsp) with 300ml of water or non acidic juice (grapefruit juice). 2 to 4 times daily especially after your workout (most important one) or as required. BCAAs will mix best with a shaker bottle, simply shake for 30 seconds. Please note that Leucine is partially insoluble and due to the high amount of Leucine there will be bits of Leucine which will not dissolve this is normal.
