MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) primary use is as an aid to pain relief both in joints and lean tissue. This is because it improves the flexibility of cell walls and it also helps to detoxify the body.
Many Athletes also take MSM to overcome lactic acid build-up in muscle. Many users also report a positive effect on energy levels.MSM is the fourth most abundant mineral in the body, MSM (a form of sulphur) is an odourless powder that produces all the benefits associated with other forms of sulphur, without the unpleasant side-effects, such as unpleasant body odour or flatulence.

MSM plays an important role in repairing and maintaining epithelial tissue that is found in lungs, nasal passages, skin and the lining of the digestive tract.
It should be noted however, that MSM may have a mild blood-thinning effect. Persons taking blood-thinning medication, such as Coumadin®, should consult with their doctor before using MSM as a nutritional supplement. Also, though generally a desired effect, MSM may cause hair and fingernails to grow at a faster rate.

RECOMMENDED USE:

As a dietary supplement we recommend consuming 1 gram 4 times daily, preferably with meals. Best consumed with your preferred amount of water or fruit juice.

Please Note: MSM is water soluble, and is not toxic. Therefore, it is not possible to take too much, as is the case with some vitamins and other supplements. Many people take 10 - 20 grams every day, especially if suffering from arthritis or other ailments. We recommended to “build up” to much larger amounts. The benefits of MSM generally take several weeks before becoming apparent, so it is not necessary to take much larger dosages if you don’t feel any different.
