Deluxe Nutrition Night Time Recovery Drink is a good choice of protein to use before bed as a high anti catabolic protein slowly released into the system as we sleep at night. Naturally occuring in micellar casein is a high level of glutamine, the most abundant amino acid in human muscle tissue that is vital for recovery and muscle repair. 100% Casein is made from 100% micellar casein; this is the best source of nutritious protein for prolonged absorption rates. 100% Casein provides many hours of supply to the muscles in form of essential amino acids, BCAAs and L-glutamine. Casein proteins are pH sensitive and gel in the acidic environment of the stomach which results in a steady release of amino acids into the blood stream over time. Research has shown that when you consume 100% Casein you will reach a peak in blood amino acids and protein synthesis between 4 to 5 hours, and the total release of amino acids in the bloodstream can last as long as 7 to 8 hours after taking 100% Casein.
