Whey protein has many benefits, including rapid assimilation by the body for fast-acting muscle growth and the highest yield of BCAA’s of any single protein source. This makes whey an excellent protein source to use post-workout, as BCAA’s comprise roughly 1/3 of muscle tissue, and are among the first sacrificed during intense exercise. Mass Factor also packs in 95 grams of carbohydrates to help replenish muscle glycogen stores after intense training sessions. Muscle glycogen is the main fuel source for high-intensity activity (i.e. resistance training) and is also the ultimate limiting factor for sport performance.
